Description:
IntroductionThe test site ( photos) was created by HCR-CTRO d.o.o. in 2004 on a part of an existing military range for the purpose of testing mechanical demining equipment in repeatable and controlled conditions, according to the CEN Workshop Agreement, Test and Evaluation of Demining Machines (CWA 15044). It consists of a part for performance tests and another part for survivability tests and vegetation cutting tests.
|
Test lanes/areasThe area intended for performance tests contains three different test lanes containing top soil, gravel and sand. The lanes are 4.5 m wide and 50 m long.
The survivability tests are performed on a separate area covering 13 330 m2.
|
Targets
Survivability tests are performed with live Anti-personnel (AP) and Anti-tank (AT) mines. The number and type of mines used fro testing depends on the type of machine being tested (light, medium, heavy).
